Tom’s story
Tom trained as an actor at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. He has had a successful and varied career on both stage and screen, including leading roles at The National Theatre, The Royal Exchange, The Royal Court, The West End, and many leading roles on TV and Film including a nomination for Best Newcomer at the Royal Television Society awards.
Tom has since gone on to have an equally varied and successful career as a professional voice coach under the mentorship of Patsy Rodenburg O.B.E., and graduated with distinction, with an MA in Voice at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Tom is an experienced voice and presence coach and is an accredited Patsy Rodenburg Associate, he was Head of Voice at The Laurus Trust and collaborates with a variety of conservatoires, schools, theatres and corporate clients, including the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, The Danish National School of Performing Arts, Cooperative Trust, The Royal Shakespeare Company, A&O Shearman, Kearney, Jodrell Bank, STEPS Drama, St Mary’s University, Chickenshed Theatre Company, Index on Censorship, ITV News Correspondence, and individuals including accountants from The Big Four global accountancy firms, barristers, actors, teachers, professionals, HR specialists, and musicians.
